In this tranquil setting amidst a vibrant downtown, celebrated local musicians play their music, authors and poets present readings, and regional artists show their work. Local farmers offer Mother Nature’s best produce, special events bring hands-on activities for children and you might catch a preview of upcoming cultural events or gain new awareness for a business or organization.
The Downtown Marketplace features fresh homegrown produce and organic items. Fresh bread and eggs are available. Look for fresh cut flowers and native plants. These are our local farmers offering Mother Nature’s best. Most of our farmers welcome WIC checks.
This season may bring all the special events you’d expect and some new features to spice things up a notch!

This weekly Saturday market provides a taste of what is good about our community- easy access to opportunities, cultural enrichment, an inclusive atmosphere. It is a consistent event, ongoing for over twenty years, that our community depends on.
At Tallahassee Downtown Market, we would like nothing better than to have every resident and business be involved in making our community a better, brighter place. There are numerous ways to become involved with our programs.
The MarketPlace is always looking for vendors of unique goods. All products sold should be produced by the vendors themselves.
